Karianna: Review

TV Without Commercials with Ameba:

The online viewing is perfect for my boys. They are already independent on their computers, so having a subscription to Ameba gives them yet another option to browse while they are online. (Also, because we have a small laptop and a 4G key, they can even watch Ameba in the van if they want to. That’s not a bad option for a long car trip!)

Hip Homeschool Moms: Review

Hip Homeschool Moms team member review:

When we turned Ameba on (the first time)….my almost 10yo son rolled his eyes and said: “Mom, this is for babies!” Now…..he and my other two children are IN LOVE with Ameba. We recently told them we were going to turn cable off….they all three said “CAN WE PLEASE KEEP AMEBA TV?”

Cool Mom Tech: Review

Great programming for kids. And not actually on TV:

Ameba TV definitely brings a new dimension to TV watching. It’s a commercial-free online network for kids 2-13 that has original and entertaining programming, so much so that I’ve fallen in love with an adorable polar bear named Bernard. There is a whole new array of programs available that mix great animation and creativity, and feel almost Pixar-like in their quality

Geekasms: Review and Giveaway

Ameba definitely gets the seal of approval:

Honestly, this is an easy no-brainer for me in terms of suggesting this. It’s a great concept that is right up front in terms of technology. The programming is fun, entertaining, educational, and the selection is expanding constantly, giving you a growing separation from the normal programming all of us are being treated to. The price is great at $3.99 a month, and is worth every penny. The expansion possibilities and overall horizon for this product and this concept is so bright, I think some will be sorry if they sit and wait on jumping on.

Techy Dad Review and Giveaway

Fun and Educational Kids TV:

It just goes to show that kids like fun shows. They don’t care if the show uses the latest animation techniques or expensive computer generated imagery. The shows on Ameba might not have big toy lines behind them like Dora or the Disney shows do, but they are fun and educational. (Of course, the lack of a big toy line might be seen as another plus.)

Play That Now: Review

Play that Now:

As for what I was expecting from Ameba’s website description to what we received, it works as advertised. It was a painless process to get it up and running. Setting up profiles for your children, and adding shows to them is simple. I have to give credit to Ameba TV for taking time to make sure that the episodes offered are quality product. This is the way TV for kids should be.
